LSU’s Steven Milam Climbing the Charts

LSU junior Steven Milam continues to rack up preseason honors. Today, he was ranked as the No. 5 shortstop in the country. Milam is coming off a massive 2025 postseason where he earned College World Series All-Tournament honors. The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in several preseason polls, open their season on February 13 against Milwaukee.

Hurricanes “Gear Up” for 2026

In Coral Gables, the Miami Hurricanes are finalizing their roster as they look to build on last year’s Super Regional run. Coach J.D. Arteaga has a squad featuring 15 returners, 11 transfers, and 13 freshmen. Key eyes are on junior 3B Daniel Cuvet, a Preseason All-American who many scouts believe is in his final collegiate season.

ESPN Announces Massive Broadcast Slate

No. 16 Pittsburg State is heading to Edmond, Oklahoma, for the Edmond First Pitch Classic. After a 3-0 start to their season last weekend, the Gorillas are currently hitting a staggering .388 as a team. They face Missouri-St. Louis tomorrow to kick off the event.
