The LSU baseball team suffered a series loss for the second straight weekend, which was enough for oddsmakers to proclaim someone else the College World Series favorite. LSU was still the CWS favorite at most sportsbooks despite a disappointing weekend against Auburn from May 5-7, but this past weekend’s losses to Mississippi State caused LSU to to be knocked from the top perch.
