In the midst of the betting scandal surrounding Friday’s Alabama-LSU game, Crimson Tide baseball coach Brad Bohannon was fired on Thursday. After multiple states banned their legal sportsbooks from accepting future bets on Alabama baseball, Bohannon was terminated by the university for “violating the standards, duties, and responsibilities expected of University employees,” per athletic director Greg Byrne in a news release.
